Default Stradic Ci4+ being replaced.

Looks like the Stradic Ci4+ is being replaced by the Vanford. Retail at $250 USD.

Hmm. Link worked when I posted it, but it looks like they are pulling them all down until the official announcement next week.

The pic I saw had them looking like this. Silver like the Stradic FL.

That’s a very slick looking reel. Would that finish get scratched easily?

Good question. My understanding is that it will still be a MgL reel, but with the micro module gearing from the Stella, similar to the Stradic FL. The pics I saw were from the European and Australian sites and they were silver. Not sure if America will keep the black and red scheme of previous Ci4+ reels?

Maybe that is why they were on such good sale this week at the fishing hole. https://thefishinhole.com/index.cfm?...CI4+/&se=29894 sale ends today

Looks like charcoal grey and red for the color in North America.

That’s a sweet colour! I personally like dark reels better but that’s all personal opinion. This one looks very nice. I’d love to try one of these however I find them very expensive. The most “high end” reel I have is a quantum smoke and I honestly don’t think that I’ll need anything better for the fishing here in Alberta. Maybe I’m wrong though.
