Good and solid ( around 10") ice on yellow head, winchell lake and sibbald pond.

8" to 10" of clear, solid ice at Pigeon.

Me and Jeff hit up mullhurst hoping for whitefish, walked on with the sled. Walked along a huge ice heave to our spot, the heave would be pretty scary to pass on a quad or snow mobile, its quite large so heads up.

As for how the fishing was; saw a few walleye, only got one onto the ice though. Also had a nice size pike bite me off while trying to target whites. Fished from 7 to 15 FOW. Pretty quiet, only a few other guys out that we could see.

PS: Has anyone seen a whitefish in Pigeon the last year or so? I can't find them for the life of me.

Some parts exposed some parts has snow dunes, over all I would say about 3-5 inch snow... blizzard happens there every hour, never know it might end up 2 feet snow at some point...

Ghost Res has 8" of solid clear Ice. Only drilled 3 holes straight out from the Boat Launch all 8" didn't check anywhere else on the lake..

South side of the Boat Launch has the typical heave running from shore to the Dam. looks Relatively small compared to some years. Its there every year though.

There were several groups ice fishing the north end of McGreggor this weekend.

There is some open water but much more solid fishable ice. Proceed with caution.

Just to be clear, if you enjoy fishing the rocks on the north dam, there is still significant open water at that particular spot.

Thank you Duramaximos. I prefer ice fishing during winter. Will wait a real ice.
