Mayan Riviera Fishing (Mexico)

Anyone fish in the Mayan Riviera before? Looking for some tips/recommnedations. Heading down there with family on Jan.5th and thought I might try deep sea fishing for a first time.

x2 on Captain Rick's. I was just out with them about a month ago. We didn't have much luck but I have caught some GREAT mahi mahi with them in May. (They say the best fishing is in May but IDK)

They go out of Puerto Aventuras but they can get you transport from Playa or anywhere around there.

Am headed down in January and made thread previous. It's either captain ricks or wasabiloco from what I understand. Both are good.
