Anybody out at Sylvan yet???? We hit Carson Pegasus and did okay. Limit in trout and 4 whites in the afternoon between 4 of us. Thinking of Sylvan for whites tomorrow.

We hit Sylvan today, managed to get 11 whites between four of us. Also found the walleye while searching for the perch. We seen lots of whites but they did'nt seem overly aggresive.

Ya you bet, always up for a rum! Everybody was driving on aside from a couple of us with 1 ton diesels. Lots of people had 1 ton diesels on the ice but I like to wait a little bit longer. Not so much that the ice wont support my truck, but too many people with trucks the same size coming to see how you are making out pull up right next to yours and I dont trust 12-14 inches of ice for two within five feet of each other. Maybe I am just chicken. If you see a red 08 Super duty out there come by for a drink.
Logan you smell like skunk. Does that follow you around all the time?LOL

I fished Sylvan this morning, take the Rainy Creek road west off hwy 20, about 1/2 mile west of the sun breaker cove road there is another road that will take you straight onto the lake, there is a no exit sign on the hwy for this road. We fished close to the shore and there was lots of whites, we kept 5 and seen 30+ for a morning of fishing. The whites are smaller in sylvan. You can see about 8' when the sun is up.

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't make it out but my buddies hit Carson and Pegasus again, and the whites were few and far between. This Saturday I'm definately going to try Sylvan. I've been hearing about it for a few years and it's time to try it out. I'll post before Saturday, and maybe I'll meet a few of you.

Anyone been to Sylvan latley? Heading out tommorow curious to know how it's been. And where the bite is if anyone minds sharing any spots, I'll respect you if you don't want to share your spots also.

Thanks in advance.

Whites have been decent, there is supposedly a 45-50" Northern swimming around down RR23 causing quite a stir among the people who have seen her.

Rainy Creek Road is on the North side, i fish down RR23 on the South side directly across from Rainy Creek area. Odds are better down RR23.
