NSR update Saturday July 16th

Got out in the boat for a morning of fishing saturday. we were fishing within the edmonton city limits. The water was high,fast and muddy. we were having trouble keeping the boat in one place even with 2 anchors. we managed 2 walleye and one burbot over about 4 hours. We were fishing pickerel rigs, with worms on the bottom hook and minnows on the top. We caught all three fish on the minnows. Did anyone else make it out this weekend with any luck? the water conditions are less then ideal.

I'm might go try the NSR by devon tomorrow. Anyone know any good spots near Devon from shore?

if you head straight south from the boat launch I always see people fishing from shore on the far side of the bridge pilings. there is a flat spot there where you can set up a lawn chair.

The water is a bit high and dirty but the fishing was very good.
