Thar she blows. Pavlof volcano is acting up.

volcanic eruptions are a source of iron which triggers a lot of plankton growth in the ocean.

Iron has an amazing effect on salmon size and productivity, and a lot of salmon winter in the gulf of Alaska.

So, not all bad I suppose.
