I'm sure ots a decent shot gun. As are all other 870s. I used to run a security mossberg mav 88 with an ati folding stock but always struggled with carrying in such a fashion that it could be deployed quickly yet was out of the way enough to hunt with a bow... I finally settled on just packing spray when I'm bow hunting.....really wish a handgun was legal....
I have been experimenting with kydex holsters for a lever gun or shot gun that can be carried on your back yet pop free when you need it rather than a scabbard style where you need to pull the full length of the gun free.
