Exclamation Ammo at Walmart

Walmart Deerfoot Meadows location has a heckuva sale on their limited selection of ammunition right now. Might be worth checking other locations for these prices.
Winchester 333 bulk for $14.00
Federal Heavy Field 12 #4 for $9.00
Federal Heavy Steel 12 random sizes for $14.00
Challenger 12 $9.00 to $14.00
Remington Express, Federal blue box, and Hornady centre fore all on sale.
Looked like the 410 was all $14.00, but only had a box of 7.5 left.

^ That thing is now $5 and change, lol. If someone in Calgary wants it, I can bring it for you first-ish week of June. Let me know. They have two.

It also appears they can’t get rid of these guys:

They have been sitting at $999 for a while. This is the first time I noticed they dropped another $150.

This offer is no longer available because someone took me up on it. Good for them.

Wish they had one for SX3, and at that price to boot! I have been (kind of) looking for one for a very long time.

Can still do the scope(s) if anyone is interested.

Cabelas has .308 Barnes Vortx ammo on sale. Only 168gr though at 20% off. Everything else is regular price.

If someone spots this in .7-08, 30-06, .243 on sale, I would appreciate a heads up.

Stoeger Cda has a sale on, one thing I spotted was a Steiner Military G3 3-12x50 w/mildot Illuminated reticle. Shows MAP at 3049.00, sale is at 1499.88.
Seems like a good deal on a higher end scope if that'll work for you.

Get those .50 bmg’s while you can! Looks like Canadian Tire is clearing the stock before they are banned for good:

Local Canadian Tire, along with the bmg’s (lol), has these Savage 64 mags on clearance too:

As I did with the shotgun mounts posted somewhere above, if someone in Calgary wants one (or two, or whatever), I can purchase it (them) for you and bring it (them) down with me in a week or so.

Cabela’s and Al Flaherty's Outdoor Store (probably others as well) have Finnlight 85’s on sale/clearance. The latter has them for about $2K, whatever is in stock. Other Sako’s are also on sale at Al’s.

At Cabela’s, Vor-tx Long Range ammo is at 25% off for .30-06 and 6.5PRC (Creedmore as well, but that one is always on sale/clearance, I think):
https://www.cabelas.ca/product/16496...fle-ammunition

Some TSX bullets are on clearance: 6mm - $40/box; .22 - $40/box; .30 (168gr) - $55/box:

But you have to be careful as 6.5 PRC Barnes 127gr LRX is 25% off at Cabela's which brings the price to $74.98

Prophet Rivers sells the same ammo for $76.99 regular price every day.

So is Cabela's SALE just bringing the ammo back to full retail ???? and advertising it as a SALE ??? interesting marketing you have to know the price of things and shop around as a sale is not always a sale

That’s pretty much what Cabelas does. Those “sales” are sometimes not so much so. Always price check.

For sure. I only checked the prices of what I was buying, the 6mm bullets everywhere else where they were in stock (next cheapest was $45/box plus shipping) and 30-06 most places (at $67 per box, it was significantly cheaper than elsewhere and most don’t have stock anyway). Plus free shipping. It made quite a difference for me. I didn’t look at the PRC pricing, just saw they were also on sale.

Generally, it is a good idea to check prices elsewhere (everywhere if possible?), sale or not, as they can vary greatly. And yes, some things are priced quite a bit higher at Cabela’s, but it was not the case for me this time, which is why I posted

The Canadian Tire at Southland and MacLeod Trail in SE Calgary had sale prices on some of their Hornady, IMR, Accurate, and Winchester powders when I was there this afternoon. Sale prices ranged from $49.99 to $64.99/lb. eg. Hornady Superformance was $54.99/lb.
No, I did not take notes on all the powders/prices.
