Agreed....that series was like the Stanley Cup final round.
Doesn't get much more exciting and edgy than that.

Great stuff and now onto the next round.

Lucic and Chara are monsters. My first inclination when last nights game ended was to think that TO played them soft to allow them the comeback. In all reality though, when Boston plays it tough and physical, TO doesn't have the muscle. very exciting.....

Before the Leafs / Bruins game last night I said that I hoped to see the hearts of a million Leafs fans broken, and boy, did that ever happen!

We are inudated to the point of boredom throughout the regular season with so many penalty calls. Let em play.

I'm torn on that one. I'm an Iginla fan but I also know Philllips from the Sens as we are from the same hometown. Should be a great series regardless....

I'm not torn at all, always been a Pens fan. I don't like Toronto at all, lol. I just think the ref's were and are really bad this year in the playoff's.

Bruins are going to be hard to stop, Penguins better be at there best when they hook up in the east final or it will be a short series I'm thinkin..

I would absolutely love it if the Bruins knocked out the Pens from the playoffs (if both teams make the next round obviously) just to stick it to Iginla for holding the Flames hostage before his trade.

And I lived in Van when Lucic played for the Giants so I've always cheered for him.

If the Bruins and Pens hook up in the east final you can bet the Bees will have some extra motivation playing against Iggy alright, they are a highly motivated team as it is right now...especially Lucic

Erik Karlsson is a great player but he reminds of a Swedish soccer player the way he dives and continually whines to the refs, I'm glad he got at least 1 diving penalty tonight hopefully the refs will call a few more on him...

The South Americans are more polished on the flop, the swedes are actually considered hard nosed type players.

I watch soccer it's true. If you're talking about hockey, swedes aren't as bad as some, Finnish hockey players generally do play a strong two way game.

I am aware that its a hockey thread, I was responding to black pheasants assertion that Erik karlsson resembled a Swedish soccer player with all his diving. If he looked like a soccer player with the flopping would be South American IMHO.

But yeah I like the way the bruins play, although Greg Campbell does irk me.

Swedish hockey players have toughened up over the years but are still ******* by and large, eric karlsson is proving to be a bit of a pussie

Why not? I don't watch Swedish soccer per se as international soccer. What you watch besides hockey?
