Default Fishing near Redwater

Going to a family function in Redwater, NE of Edmonton. What's my best bet for a day of fishing nearby? From shore, since I will be boatless.

Try were the redwater river meets the NSR. Just east of town before the bridge go left and walk down the creek to the mouth .Have always caught walleye and pike there. There are also quite a few access points on the NSR on roads close to there.

Vinca bridge is near redwater you would be fishing the North Saskatchewan river, I have caught many different species of fishing. I have caught walleye, sauger, pike, burbot, sucker fish, goldeye and have also hooked up with a few surgeon at this location.
Lamont also has a stocked trout pond you could try.

I used to fish Vinca Bridge years ago with success. Went again earlier this summer and access was hard. The north side is shallow and weedy. The south side is best and has amazing eddies for goldeye. But access is no longer there as a gas company has fenced it off and put up signs
