Pigeon today. Good and bad

Well it started off getting stuck for an hour. Started fishing at around 8:30 and fished till dark. I saw about 16-22 whites and they were all big. I caught one. had 2 others inhale the hook and I can not believe they spit the hook on me before the hook set. Caught about 6-8 walleye. I had some whites eating snals off of a rock 5 or 6 times with the hook right beside it with no takers. Fish are not hungrey in there at all. I figure it was a slow day but I could also call it good because I had a massive pike on that would have blown your mind. Snapped me off. I could not even budge it when I tried. My buddy also caught 2 other pike that were 14 pounds and 13and a half pounds. If it were not for the pike I would have been a bit disapointed. The walley were hitting tip ups all day but only a quarter of them would stay on. Fishing the North side of the lake
