Question Motorized Ice Pod

Just wondering if anyone has purchased or used the Motorized Ice Pod for Aqua Vu cameras?
Looking for any thoughts or opinions.

Thanks

I bought the regular Ice Pod from The Fishin Hole in Edmonton $16.95
I just called The Fishin Hole and they do have the Motorized Ice Pod in stock for $119.95

Why were you having trouble finding them in Canada?

I paid 149.00 for mine, and it is awesome had it fo 3 seasons now and no problems. We can pan 360* and the pike just love eating the camera especially when you add a little motion.
I would buy another one if something happens to this one

I have one for my Aqua View Cameras. They work as they are supposed to. I run it off a 12V Battery instead of the other Batteries. I would recommend to cut a piece of Styrofoam about 3-4" and attach that to your Camera Cable. This will prevent Ice build-up on the Cable. For the Styrofoam, I used a Kid's Water toy called a Noodle. These are about 5 ft long and made from Styrofoam.
A few years back, I was at Burntstick and had the Camera set back about 3 ft to cover off my line and buddies line. It was really cold and Camera Cable ended freezing up against the Ice in the hole. Cable got damaged while freeing cable with from the Ice. With the Styrofoam there is a hole already about 1/2" in the middle. Just cut a slit so the Cable can be run in. Ice will build up on the Styrofoam but can be broken off without damage to the Cable.
