spray lake conditions

hey everybody how do you think they ice will be on spray lake this weekend with all this warm weather here or has it been cooler out there?

I was just out there yesterday and the ice is 18'' and more. It was very nice weather there. I was lucky because it was dead calm with no wind.

Was there this morning. Froze my butt off, no bites.

Weather man said warm and no wind: was minus 12 with a sharp breeze. Ice is very thick (18 inches) and is not going to change anytime soon.

No need to worry about ice conditions at Spray until April, no matter what the temp is here in Calgary. Always colder out there and rarely is above freezing. You won't see much harder ice than spray.
