Default Long Island Lake

Its been a lot of years since I ice fished the lake , my wife & I were thinking to take a drive to try our luck . I know it can be a hard lake to fish but also heard about it took a lot of pressure . Has anyone fished it lately & what the ice conditions are like . Any information appreciated or pm's . Thank You

I have fished it a couple times this winter so far. Lot's of 4" Perch if you find them, and a healthy population of Pike, but nothing trophy sized. When I was out there last month there was lots of ice, people were driving all the way down to the narrows.
