i know exactly where you were fishing!!!!!! i have seen a guy bail HARD on that fence. one of the funniest things ive ever seen!!he had an imprint of the fence on his face for like 20 min. my secret hole is just upstream of where you were fishing. just a bit. its a really good spot and an unbelievable spot at night. went there once and walked out into the water to fish and I had fish surfacing no more that 10 feet in front of me and to the sides. couldnt go a couple seconds without a splash. but my spot just upstream of where you are, there are some fat trout that are super finicky and they are bigguns. ive had a couple on and failed to land them. and theyre always there and no one fishes there. the either go upstream or down.

It's a cotton cordell actually....and I basically just cast it out and reel it in slow....the current drags it down a bit so I don't wanna reel it in too fast and get it stuck somewhere

hey baitfisher youd have better luck without the sival i find more of the bigger ones shy away from it and you should pick up a panflet called "Trout from char"
it goes through step by step to idenify every trout char and whitefish/grayling

Great brown though!

in dog pound creek and the raven river (not North Raven) i would be one happy guy if i even averaged fish this size on my fly rod.

You need to fish the bow then, lots of monster browns lurking the water...

I was down fishing the Bow last weekend. I only managed one small rocky to hand but the Master caught a nice brown.
