It's great, bright pin, easy to use and adjust. Sight in at 20 and 60 then do a little math and your sighted in from 20-100 by the yard

Lets say may 1st?
Give some people an extra few weekends to shoot.
Or put it to a vote? Majority rule.

In Alberta on May 1st there still could be two feet of snow in many places...lol

Maybe June 1st will give more shooters a chance on dry ground...

July 30th. Whenever you gentlemen decide what the end date is for Hydro's excellent challenge, I will post my pictures this summer, when I post my 500 yard offhand pictures! Best of luck to all!

Hydro you are a STUD, but I already told you that didn't I? Your challenge does not require $$$, only respect.

I hope to hunt with you one day, Cat's or Herd Bull Elk sounds good to me!

Wind? lol

I am actually looking forward to watching them Benams disintegrating upon impact with the bear because they do fracture and splinter just hitting the ground, should be quite the show on steel.

Never Buy Beman Arrows, pure JUNK!

I tried and it wasn't pretty. The only thing I can consistently hit at 100 yards is the ground.

You get an E for effort for sure....weather isn't the greatest but it's good to try in a variety of situations.

Here is the bow I set up with a 5x lens, goal today was to set up sight tape to 100yards

Here is a 100 yard test group, realized some wind doping would be required!

Here are two "challenge" groups,

Adjust sight up a touch, using Kentucky windage for the cross wind.

I'm going to enter mine in the "hunters" class. Im at the cabin today, trying to get some shooting in in between rain storms. This was my first group after sighting in a 100yd pin. It's windy right now, hopefully the wind dies down.

Very nice lefty.
Looking really good kurt.

Nelson, dont be discouraged, i have only managed to hit the target once.
I think you are shooting a recurve as well? I find myself "aiming" about 9 or 10 feet above the target, and im getting the distance alright. My shoulder is killing me.
Holding at full draw for 5-10 seconds time after time is getting old. Haha.

The winds have died down today, group tightened up. The pics from yesterday were the best group of the day, even though I'm shooting into the sun this morning I think this group will be hard for me to top.

Here's another on from today. Sorry if I'm flooding the thread but I only shoot long range on weekends at the cabin.

Fantastic shooting Kurt.
Which bow were you using? I seem to recall you have 3 you like but the 360 maybe isn't dialed in yet (?)
That last group is just amazing for a hunting set up at that distance

It was the 360, lol! As a matter of fact I only have 2 pins sighted in so far, 20 and 100! I honestly haven't had much time with this bow, and this weekend was the first time I had a chance to shoot it past 13yds, other than the the day I bought it. I got to spend about 15 minutes shooting it at Jimbows before I had to leave, seems like a keeper, but I still think I'm a little more steady with my element, I'm not real crazy about the stabilizer I have on there when I don't have a quiver attached. I'll have to take all three out when I have a little more time and see how they compare.

I never got my first couple groups on video, but I did happen to have the video recorder rolling for that last group, maybe I'll post up the video later, but the only way I know how to post it is by putting it on YouTube then posting the link. I've got a couple months, I'm sure I'll get a few better groups than that on tape.

Here's a link to that video, I don't know how to post the video directly so I have to use youtube. It'll be a while before I shoot again so good luck to everyone!

Btw, my lost arrow count is at 1, the wind died down from yesterday and my first shot today floated right on by the target. Hopefully my boys will track that arrow down, fmj's aren't cheap!

Awesome video Kurt, question for you?

In your opinion, are the fmj arrows the best money can buy? I am replacing all of my arrows this years and I want the best money can buy, keeping in mind that they will be used for hunting. Thanks!

Dang show-offs ...makes it hard to get the incentive after looking at those groups...lol

Snow drifts are down on outdoor range now so will have to give it a try....
