Default note of Thanks

We drifted the RDR yesterday, and while drifting I realized I left the key to the vehicle left at the pullout spot at Hwy 54 bridge, back in the vehicle parked at the Dickson Dam.

At the pull-out spot my brother flagged down a young guy in a truck who was kind enough to drive him back to the Dam to his vehicle. The young man was offered, but would not accept anything in return.

With sincerest Thanks.

Pierre & Gerald.

Goes to show that there are still some good, kind hearted people out there. How was the fishing?

Great to hear of the offer of a helping hand. Far to often these days we hear of unfortunate events and such. Good on the fellow who helped you guys out. Thanks for sharing.

Default Further questions...

How was the water flow and clarity?

How long did it take you to float that stretch?

Was wondering,
Mike

P.S. Glad someone was there to lend you a hand!

Default fishing

The flow was 46 m3/second with about 4' of visibility. It took us about 8 hrs to float that 26 km section. According to my gps average speed was 3 km/hr.

We stopped for lunch, stopped to fish a few fishy spots, stopped if we got busted off, stopped to land nice fish, so definitely could be done faster, but we did it at a relaxed pace.

Hope that helps.
