Default Snow levels on Calling Lake

With spring break now upon us it's time for the annual take the kids to Calling lake ice fishing trip. I would like to know how deep the snow is now because today my 75 yr old dad just upgraded from his 76 argo to a 2005 6 wheeler. We are thinking of trying it out as my main sled is out of action needing a primary clutch. No tracks on this argo so thats why Im asking how deep the snow is now.

Thanks for any info.

i was in athabasca the other day and not alot of snow so i would say that the lake will not have that much

I would check the regs as to when the lake is closed to fishing.

You can fish Calling until midnight on Saturday then the season is closed.

Always do, in the past you were able to fish until the last day of march and I always double check before I go out. Thanks for the snow tips.

Up against shore it is about a foot on the west end. Once on the lake about 6 - 8 inches, but soft and sticky. Was out yesterday afternoon for an hour. Fishing was slow mid afternoon, but I had to leave before last light.
