Default Seeking Campground Advice

Hello folks, I have a few days off in mid September and am hoping to escape for a few days of walleye fishing. My wife will be hanging around the campgrounds while I'm on the water, so I am looking for quite a nice place for her to spend time at. We haven't been to the west end of Slave Lake or to Moose Lake, but would like to do one of those if there's a pretty nice campground at one of them. We pull a 28 foot 5th wheel and would like to have mooring for the boat as well. Thank you for your input.

Churchill island on Lac La Biche is a great place to stay lots of trails. Great walleye fishing just can’t keep them but great action all day and some big walleye and nice pike.

Hilliards Bay provincial park is really nice as well, and you can get sites just off of the water where you can pull your boat ashore and tie it off. My wife really liked it 😁
