tyson, im running 100gr barnes triple shocks at 3700 and IMR4831. some petals tend to fly off at that velocity at close ranges, but nothing gets away. unfortunately its not really up to you which bullet your gun will like

as Tunkey says zero for 300 and its "hold on hair to 500".
as for glass..buy the best you can afford and 30% more...cant go wrong with good glass, even if you decide to peddle the gun someday, the scope can switch to another gun.
