Hmmmm sounds like a pontoon boat material for all to enjoy a day in the water.
That's the route we are going to go.....still keeping the 14' crestlimer, yak and canoe though....
Bass buggy 18' DLX?
Or an 18 foot fish/ski boats from crestliner or Lund........hmmmmm choices eh which is a good thing....good luck.

How are pontoon boats in rough water? The wind can come up fast here .

the new ones with larger pontoons can handle anything any other boat can but are a bugger to get on the trailer in high winds but there are trailer assist guides to make that easier...here in Cold Lake the wind can reek havoc and there are a lot of pontoon boats out and about...

Don’t know your price range but it’s hard to go wrong with a kingfisher

I have a Lund 1775 Crossover with a 150 Merc outboard. It is a wider boat than alot of others which makes it very stable. It is perfect for fishing or pulling tubers and skiers. Bought mine in 2015 and very happy with it.

Waterton lake or Waterton Reservoir? I thought they weren't letting people put there own powerboats into Waterton Lake any more due to invasive species risk.

Pontoon boats can do it all. I’ve seen them pull skiers, tubers, multitubers, and of course get you to fishing spots.
As mentioned above....can be a bugger to load in high winds.

I purchased a Princecraft Hudson 170 last spring. The grandkids love it. Great fishing boat and I can pull them easily on the tube. Multipurpose, and good on bigger water. My only regret, I didn’t do it 30 years ago. Barry Jays set me up with the right boat for me.

I would be more than willing to come on your fishing pleasure boat and give you advice.
Don't know much about boats but I do like pontoon boats for safety.
