I'll have O'Toole followed by Lewis. Not sure if I'll include McKay but Sloan will be left off for sure.

Looks like Calgary just upped the anti, and will require all face masks for all ages while indoors. Smart move.

They will need to start handing out fines to the kids that don't abide. First offence....lunch money. Second offence....one weeks allowance.....

They need to quit changing the bloody rules. Parents are choked (no pun there).

I suppose they have cancelled all gym classes, and all indoor sports where students participate?

They should cancel these kids lives. I’m astounded at the lunacy of all of this. Astounded. All from the most selfish of individuals who can make a living from their basements. Unbelievable.

How do you teach control by doing that?

Having a look at the Alberta numbers this morning.

Total Albertan Covid related deaths 220.
Over 80 years old - 149
70-79 years old - 51
60-69 years old - 15
50-59 years old - 2
40-49 years old - 1
30-39 years old - 1
20-29 years old - 1
Under 29 - 0

Not sure why they rule any of the deaths of octogenarians covid, as they are rolling the dice every morning. Seems silly to destroy an economy and burden our children with debt hindering the chances of success. This has gotten ridiculous.

So not only do kids have zero chance of dying, neither do their parents.

I'm not sure teachers are trying to teach "control". From what I remember it's more age appropriate subjects as well as trying to keep children safe.

Please show how this move was made based on the scientific research. The fact is people with no medical background are making decisions that could harm kids psychologically for their entire lives!

As I said, unless something drastically changes this is going to go down as the biggest overreaction ever.

You are correct, it's not the teachers.
From the stats posted in a previous post, looks to me like the children are already pretty safe lol

I can only imagine Prince Iveson will follow his friends down south.
I am fortunate enough that my sole income has been enough to not force my wife back to work. She will stay home and continue to educate the kids. We will not send them into the Hysteria.
It is sad though because they will get nowhere near the education nor social experience that they would in a classroom.
We have weighed out the pros and cons and feel they are better off at home.
When those in power find their brains we will gladly have our kids join society again.
For now we're going to keep them away from people and avoid them catching crazy.

For every 1% increase in unemployment 37,000 people die in the US. Taking that data and transferring 448 people die for every 1% increase in Alberta. Meaning roughly 2240 people have died since Covid started due to unemployment.

What doctor on the CBE made this decision? As I've said there's nothing in the research to back up kids under 10 wearing masks. The 10-15 year old range is the debatable range.

Don’t doubt some have and there is also many others who won’t put a mask on outside of work and would not put them on their children

Reality is no all people with medical backgrounds are in full agreement not even close
