Default 3 of the 4 "eyes"

I had forgotten that I had even filmed this fishing outing until I was deleting stuff off of my Camera. It was a fun, quick outting one early morning this past summer. The numbers weren't there, but when you get 3 of the "eyes" out of 4 that are in your province, you can't complain too much...

"eyes" of our province: Walleye, Mooneye, Goldeye, Saugeye(cross between a sauger and walleye....not terribly common, but they are out there)

Here is the video footage of the outing. Some may find it interesting because I have encountered MANY fishermen that can't tell a mooneye from a Goldeye, I tell you how to tell a male mooneye and goldeye from a female one and I show you a horsehair worm and explain a tiny bit about its life cycle.

Interesting. I have never done fly fishing for walleye. Might have to try it now.

They are designed for surface feeding and love to hit hopper patterns. leeches and flashy little streamers also do wonders
