Default South Buck lake Access

Has anyone been on south Buck lake and is there a lot of snow or any good tracks yet? I'm thinking of trying the North west campground this weekend. Any feedback would be great thank you in advance!

A friend of a friend was out last week and said there wasn't much snow. Wasn't much fish action either. The creek area in the NW area might have thinner ice.
