I use the plastic ones now. Right around 12 bucks a piece in the city at Halfords I think. You can stack a hundred of them in a medium sized sleigh. I love them

We made our own, can build about 40 an evening. Figered it was good wages at $12 a piece. Scrap plywood on the sides and 1x6 top and bottom.

flower pots are another option. i just bought 100 for under 30$. there only good for one/two seasons. brittle when its cold and the bears rip'em up if you leave them out all year. carry a few with me to set where i see fresh tracks.

looking forward to trying the newspaper tubes.

a few wood boxes i use are 10+ years old but most get ruined after 5 years. i don't pick them up after the season.

still using cubby's that the old trapper made by plunging the saw into a tree 30+ years ago.
