Default My First Brown Trout!

Just caught my first brown! There was another one that followed but didn't bite, then later it bit but I couldn't get a good hook set and he got away. He looked BIG and very very dark. Looked like wood until he opened his mouth.

Anyways here's the fish. About 18 inches is my guess.

nice one!

stop your retrieve for a split second 10-15 feet from shore and those browns that are following will hammer-trout your lure.

classic brown behaviour

HAMMER-TROUT!!

Beeguy, that's how I got the second one to hit. I saw him following so I stopped and he slammed it
