Default What's with the gas price spike?

99.9 to 106.9 yesterday, today some places are 122.9 around Lloyd

Is this for the long weekend?

New employee at an Esso station mixed up the numbers on the electronic sign. All other stations followed suit.

I saw 124.9 in St. Albert today. The last time I filled up the truck it was 89.9

That is a ridiculous jump. I can't imagine another industry that could pull that off.

And our government is busy investigating price fixing on bread. Like sliced loafs of bread. Seriously.

Its called free market. Oil is up, gasoline will generally follow. If you think it's big profits and easy money; open a retail location with gasoline as the primary product and live the dream or sell galoline lower than everybody else and see how it goes.

Which ones? I'd be impressed if you could find a stock 1/2 with a MSRP exceeding $100,000.00. Even the Raptor, with every option box checked, is $6k short.

There are also people out there stupid enough to pay that much - but they certainly don't live at my house.

Oil is up a good 15% in the last couple months, i think it is funny that everyone in alberta likes high oil prices but high gas prices are horrible and building new refineries is a stupid idea.

Hahahahaha, i love it, best thing ever

Will take the extra price at pump anytime if it means good things for local oil .

Let's hope so as its almost a certainty that ever single person on here owns those shares either directly or indirectly (mutual funds, CPP, etc)

Why the price increase? Because you are willing to pay it.
