Default Brownbomber Brothers..... Or cuzins:)

Brothers.
I never had one in my family. Just two older sisters.
Now I have son who has a younger sister.

What I want to know is It a brothers mission to harass his younger sister at every chance?
I've been dealing with it for over 5 years.
I think it started when he was just about 6 when I took him and his sister to a family reunion in Cadomin. My daughter would have been about 9 months.

We stopped beside the Emberass river for lunch.
She fell asleep in her car seat that I had set outside. And he plotted to be a sh$$ disturber.
He decided to tickle her with a piece of clover. Woke her up. Now there's two of us cranky and my son is heading for shelter in the cab of the truck.

I think it's been going ever since that late summe in 08'.

So for you guys who had a older brother, or is a older brother.
Does it end?
How long do I have to listen to this?

I think some kid needs an old fashioned a** smacking. When my kids where little and they were being brats and fighting in the vehicle I would drag them out and make them walk for a while.

Sounds better than just waiting for it to end...yup... Agreed.

I'm 30 (on the 23rd), my sister is 27. I still give her a gentle blindside swat upside the head every now and then.

Did that answer your question?

I'm moving out! Ha
Or they are going back to their moms for the rest of the week.

I need a break. Maybe go stare down a 8" hole drilled through some ice.

Doesnt matter if he is older or younger than the sister.
The fight will always happen.
Its what siblings do.
The more they can upset the parents the better.

My sis is 2yrs younger. Yep we fought like cats and dogs. Would say it was 50/50 on which of us was the chitdisturber.

It wasn't till my late 20's to early 30's before I even liked my sis even a little bit. Always thought of her as a big PITA.

Didn't help that Dad used to ref some of the scraps. Rules where all I could do is pin and tickle. Sis got to do anything in the scrap, bite, pinch, pull hair, what ever. She still never won any of the scraps

It's what brothers and sisters do. Right now I am not seeing it as bad with my two girls. Guess I am lucky or it hasn't hit really bad yet. I hear the same horror stories from my wife about her and her sister fighting, especially in the vehicle. "She's on my side!!! She is breathing my AIR!!!!" etc.

Wait till you have 3 women menstrating at the same time.... THEN you will have issues.

It's the natural order of things, I still give my younger sister a hard time. Me And my cousins all in our 30's still beat the crap out of each other.

My brother is 1 1/2 years older than me and he would harass and pester me every chance he could. It stopped when I eventually had enough of his antics, I got bigger than him and whooped his butt

lol, not sure if it'll ever end totally. I come from a big family, and where as it used to be fisticuffs all the time, now it's mostly just some ribbing here n there. And the odd wrestling match with a younger bro who thinks he's due to be able to win

Now the question is would you rather have them all three at the same time? Or 3 weeks a month with one each?

Well, as an older brother ( I have 2 younger sisters and a younger brother), and as a younger brother to my 1 older sister, I can say the 'bugging' and pestering never ends .

It's in the 'job description' (very fine print clause) of older brothers.

As a father of 4 I'm happy to report the next generation has been doing the same thing.

As a grandfather of 4 (soon to be 5) that generation has started too. The oldest of them is 4 and he has faithfully picked up the tradition. However, his 3 year old sister is quite the instigator and hands it right back to him. It's good to see

My bro is 5 years older than me. He picked on me relentlessly til I was about 15. I was in boxing at the time and starting to get better and he decided to have a boxing match in the basement to show me up, didn't work out too well for him at all. He was bleeding from his mouth and nose and couldn't lay a glove on me, after that he stopped picking on me.

Great stories guys.

I think I should go read that fine print again. I'm sure there is a clause in there I missed.
My daughter seems to be able to dish it out as well. She's big for a six year old.
Has a voice with a glass breaking screech that makes my eardrums vibrate.
I think my son knows that and is trying to make me deaf.

I'm almost convinced that they both conspire to get dad riled up.
I'm sure I've caught them whispering prior to fight club.

Is this part of the fine print as well???

I'm the eldest so it fell to me to educate my younger siblings and make sure they turned into decent, obedient citizens. It was a stuggle and there were some victories and some defeats.

I have a son and two daughters. The boy is the youngest. Only 17 months between him and the youngest girl. They fought a lot . The girl is smart and manipulative. I'm not sure but I believe that is genetic from "Yes Dear" side of the family.
She still torments him when she can.

But, if anyone else threatened eother of them, that person was in for a world of hurt from those two.
The eldest is much more mellow and gentle soul, more a sheep than a wolf like the other two.

When I moved to BODO, I thought the locals had a unique solution to the problem of sibling rivalry. Just get married........to each other>

You are catching on.

Oh, just so you know, the fine print can only be read by a big brother or sister.

Hardship builds character... and nobody mets it out better than siblings.

Its how kids lean to deal with adversity and how they learn compromise.

Eventually...they sort it out and it usually bonds them.

I just told my kids that it was OK to scrap but...it wasn't OK if I heard them scrapping.
Sort it out...or live with me sorting it out.

They figured out what that mean't PDQ.
