Lost Gear

Hello all,

I recently left my fly rods on the grass outside of Wholesale sports northside. Looks like someone scooped them up. I blame the fact that we got back there late and I was tired and in a rush packing my gear back into my car. I was hoping someone may have heard about these and could help me out. I'm offering a Cash reward to anyone that can return them. No hard feelings or questions, I just want my rods back

Stealing someones fishing gear ranks up with walking into a church and stealing a bible. My blood pressure rose reading your thread. If someone knows of this, the only right thing to do is get them back to the owner. Do it anonymously if need be. How would you enjoy fishing anyway knowing you stole somebodys rod. It will never be your own.

there is major construction going on there to the point they closed off that lane going into Wholesale. You may want to go down and talk to the Supervisor on site and at least give him your name and number. He may of heard of something after the fact.

That's a great idea Darren. I'll do that today. I've accepted it is really my own fault, and am hoping someone is willing to take a reward to clear their conscience. Pretty fair deal if you ask me, you get to be a Hero to me and get some cash to spend on more gear.

Maybe I'm suggesting the obvious, but did you check with the folks at Wholesale Sports to see if maybe, just maybe, your gear was brought into the store by the person who found it? *crossing fingers for you*

Hey Deb, yes i talked to the staff at WSS as well as the contruction staff. No word yet, but i'll post this on FFC as well . Thanks again everyone, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone was too busy last week to do this and will be doing this tomorrow or Sunday... hoping.
