Default P17 or P18 parts

Hey All, I am looking for P17 or P18 bottom metal. I pulled the old 30/06 out of the cabinet to give it a cleaning and the hinged floor plate fell apart. So now I either try to fix it or I retire the old girl for good so if any of you have some parts kicking around or know of someone with some parts, please let me know. Thank you in advance
Dame

Start by asking for M1917 parts, as P17 is a total misnomer.

Roy at R&T Firearms in Warburg can help you out, I'm sure he'll be at the gunshow this weekend if you need a better excuse to go.

Shouldn't be hinged, unless it's been modified.

If it is all original the floor plate slides into the trigger gard / mag box

Sorry for my misinformation about the model Gents. Is not a hinged floor plate like my 25/06. It is a dual catch tab floor plate. The catch on the release side has cracked and is bending/won’t hold the feeder Spring tension. Could it possibly be braze welded? If so anyone in the Calgary area able to do so on short notice?

does Anyone know anything about Churchill rifles? I know they make some cool shotguns, but when I contacted them with the serial # they said they lost many of their old records in a fire.
