Default fishing Banff

We're heading to Banff this weekend for a little getaway with the kids and on the way back the boss wants to stop along the river somewhere to try some fishing and let the kids stretch their legs. Is there any basic preferred area to go? I'll be bringing my fly rod, that I've never used before, and some casting rods. We're not looking for anyone's honeyhole or to catch any monsters. Just looking for a place to have some fun casting and burn up a half day. I'm sure anywhere with water would be fine for us. I don't know the area.
