Default Drumheller

Hi guys. We went out to the hoodoos for a walk last week and I noticed a lot of people fishing from shore on the red deer River. Can anyone tell me if the fishing is decent there? And what kind of fish they are catching there? And I'm assuming they're using pickerel rigs. Any bait tips would help to please.

Put a worm on the bottom hook and a minnow on the top hook and you will catch anything that swims by. Mostly Goldeye and walleye but also mooneye, sauger, pike, and various suckers.

100% sure minnows and worms are legal. I can never figure out all the bloody zone regulations in Alberta. I will go Monday.
