Anyone fish that mid lake hump on the south end. Shows it on the depth chart anyone have any recent depths on or around that reef?

Was out at Sands point from 9 to 1. Landed 1 white missed 2 giants as I couldn't get them up the hole with marmish rod.Broke off line. Saw quite a few whites cruising in about 7 feet of water.Good ice .

Some others will most likely chime in but for me it's more of a slow pull up to keep the line tight because it doesn't take much to set the hook with whites

They have paper thin mouths, you'll see that if you ever catch one happy jk.

So don't horse 'em and the hook set is light for sure and keep the pressure on 'em as they are scrambly little buggers.

Cheers,

Scott.

Been out a few times night and day, steady bite. Have caught more eyes then anything. Perch are not schooled up their drifters this year. Landed on burb seen a couple. Lots of small pike and healthy walleye. Big ice ridge at Wilsons, dont no if anyone cut a path through it. It's a 3 to 4 foot tall wall right against the shore. Happy fishin, Mitch.
