Default Crawling Valley or area ice depth.......

Would like to get the shack out on the ice but need driveable thickness.
Anyone been out this week and can let me know if it is worth driving out mid week this week to Crawling Valley?

Default Places to fish

We find each year we work in front of the big set of islands on the east side or go about half way up the west side and fish in front of the small islands.
Fish in 10-13 feet of water.
What was the ice thickness when you were there?

Took the family out to Blood on Saturday, ice was about 12" fished the East side, had fish in the camera all day as well as one furry critter decided to have a peek in the ice hut, yeah, had a muskrat in for a visit,my daughter wasn't too impressed with his presence ...I thought it was amusing, needless to say it left the hut with a sore nose . We ended up with 4 trout and had many more bites, just couldn't hook them.

We fished the North end at Blood. I was using jigs, the other boys had success on powerbait (pink and green) and the most hits were on a set line rigged with a good ole worm. We could have kept our limit of decent fish but just wanted 3 for supper. Biggest was just over a pound.
