Fished a little creek near Rat creek and tossed a PM for Grayling and he nailed it as hard as a fish that size could.

they are crazy at that size...I had one just about that size and it ate everything else in the tank. I came in one day and he had a white sucker hanging out of his mouth that was almost the same size as him.

TyreeUM, Just curious, Are you a fisheries biologist/technician? You always have cool stories about electrofishing and now native species in a tank. , whatever your job is/was it sounds awesome.
Sorry for the de-rail but Im just curious.

BTW, That pike is awesome. We've caught a sucker about that size and a walleye a little bit bigger in the NSR.

My personal best, no word of a lie, was about a two to three inch walleye out of the NSR on a PM. No picture but take my word for it.

Cool catch, everyone can catch a large pike, but to catch one of your quality is a sign of a true fisherman. Very cool..............
