Winagami lake, hard water season, yellow perch and white fish

Title says it all, I fish this lake fairly often as I live in Peace river and always land a pile of Pike, the odd walleye but have never seen a perch or white fish. I'm making a goal of pulling in both this winter from the lake, anyone have any tips?
