Default Fishing Shows: River Monsters and Extreme Fishing

Anyone into the River Monsters and Extreme Fishing series? I've been trying to find information on the next season and can't seem to find any. Do any of you know if there will be a next season?

On a slightly off-topic, any other shows you can recommend that are similar to these? All the ones on WFN are kind of tame and boring.

Ohh! I love River Monsters! I really wish I had more time to watch TV / Shows online. I certainly agree most fishing shows are tame. Seems to me they're more advertising now.

River Monsters is awesome! Haven't been able to find this season anywhere though. Usually it's on Netflix and iTunes but I can't find the new season on either.

Yea, most of the info I found is outdated, only up to season 4... There was a rumor of season 5 somewhere, but that's about it.

Jeremy Wade has not been to Keho or Wabamun ......... so theres still one episode left to film.

All we have to do now is find a victim .....er ...... volunteer ....... to go swimming in the lake after being sprayed with power bait.

I like watching fishing shows but kinda getting tired of these guys saying what a "beautiful fish" over and over... Especially those two guys on Fish TV, I'm starting to think they got a fetish for fish the way they talk about their catch. I like watching Wicked Tuna - I know it's a scripted reality like all the other reality shows but that's awesome watching them bring in a 800 lb tuna!

Cool

the fishing adventurer. one of the best shows, the hosts clothing does not resemble a nascar.
no adds,no fancy lodges no big name guides, just a guy fishing with the help of the locals on most episodes. my fave by far. fishing all over the world for a huge diversity of species.
I dont feel like its a commercial trying to seek me the lure, line or out fit of the season.
Keep It Simple Silly.

Wcked Tuna!, im realy interested in it because im from PEI originaly and Tuna fish every summer. The only thing i dont like is they dont tell you how long to get them in, because it sure isnt 2 minutes like on the show! Lol. I caught a 6-700lber this year- 50 min. Cool show though!

Fishing adventurer as well, that french guy goes to some pretty cool places and catches some nice fish. Fly Nation is my favorite though!

Fishing Adventurer is badass... Especially the episode when he goes basically 40 kms away from where I grew up in Brasil fishing for peacock bass...
Spent countless hours, days, weeks fishing that water and was nice to see it in the spotlight..
Something I would recommend to anyone that wants a fish that fights better than anything i have ever caught... Peacock Bass...
