Default Old Damaged Waders

Fellas,

My brothers wife has a pair of waders that she split a seam on.
They want to try to sew them back up, but figured they should try to reinforce it with another layer of material. But, they need a pretty long piece of material for it.

I have no idea where someone could buy breathable wader fabric.
So I figured why not ask if anyone has an old damaged pair of breathable waders that they are done with, that I could take to cut a large patch out of.

Or, if anyone knows where you could buy the fabric, that would work too.

I am in Calgary, and my brother is in Edmonton.

Thanks,
Graham.

If you don’t have a reply for old waders, try these guys.

https://www.peakfabrics.com/fabric/s...er-and-3-layer

Since you mentioned “sewing”, they should also consider seam sealing tape. Also available at Peak.

Not a cheap repair.

If you need to sew it...sew it.
You don't necessarily need a strip of breathable fabric if you want to put a strip over top...any waterproof material will do.
AQUASEAL is your friend.

If you don't need to sew, overlap existing material and apply aquaseal

I’m an old damaged wader. Let me know when you find a fix.

A few dabs of Aquaseal in the right places will help, or wear Depends!
