Default What makes your list? Top 10 flies of all time.

Another outdoorsman (7RemMag) mentioned in the "Lake Trout on Dry Flies" thread, that the Stimulator makes his top 10. I agree, as it's a super versatile fly and makes a good prospecting (searching) fly too.

That made me think about what would be in my top 10. What I came up with was:

- Adams (parachute)

- Tom Thumb

- W/W Worm (weighted/wired worm, San Juan worm, etc)

I can think of a bunch of other possibilities but would be much more interested in hearing other's thoughts. Regional differences, preferred style of fishing, trendy flies, etc) all likely have an influence.

So, who's in your top 10?!

Elk Hair Caddis 1-10 all sizes, love that fly , have lots for every trout in the stream
