Default Ruger #1-A in 303 British is coming

Just paid off an order for this rifle should have it in a couple of weeks. Very excited. Shot several of my first deer with this round in an old surplus enfield.
I love the #1's and like rimmed rounds in them. This rifle will be special

When we started the thread on the 24 hour campfire about my .303 Brit in a No.1 we had all sorts of responses from "what a GREAT idea" to
"Ruger wouldn't even consider putting such a chitty round in a no.1"!
Lots of negative stuff from so - called "experts" , for sure.
Clay made some enquiries and in the end Ruger decided to make it a catalogued item, NOT a special order like every one originally thought they would have to do!
A ruger Light sporter in .303 is going to be a nice rig , make sure you post pics and stuff as soon as you get it!
I am expecting my custom Ruger any day now, but I doubt if it will get hear before the factory jobs....

I'd love to own a Ruger #1 in .303 British. It sounds expensive but what an awesome gun that would be.

I got my call from Prophit River yesterday, Clay was in Montana picking them up.

They will process the balance on my bill on the 15th, and ship that same day.
