Open Boat Launch?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is an open boat launch anywhere on the NSR or RDR (or anywhere) to fire up a boat motor and check how its running.

Definitely open water at the Dickson dam launch all year round.

What kind of motor? Do you just want to start it and run it or do you want to go for a ride?
If you just want to start it there are devises that are readily available at Canadian tire that connect to a garden hose and allow you to run your boat on your driveway.

I want to believe as much as the next guy that spring is here but we still could get that late cold snap.
I might suggest waiting to "summerize" your motor unless you have heated storage for your motor.

You just starting the motor? If so, just hook it up to a hose and check it..

You don't need heated storage if it is a outboard, just make sure the leg is all the way down and drained after using...
