You might want to check out canadiankayakanglers.com, they have a forum, pretty sure there are regional boards where some people have introduced themselves and posted where they live/fish. You might just be able to start your own club if no one else has one started up in Edmonton yet!

I'm a canoe angler, does that count? Plenty of kayak anglers on this site, I had plans to join the ranks but with two young kids that I'm anxious to get hooked on fishing and a pretty good bank ballance I'll probably sell out and get a fishing boat instead, not realy sure how I feel about that but it seems like the right decision at this point. If you and your kayak ever feel like making a road trip and doing a paddle safari I could get us into some good spots. BTW nice axe on your avatar, do you play?

Canadian Kayak Anglers has a lot of members from alberta and we get together pretty often.Register for the forum and check out the hook up boards.There is tons of good rigging,reviews etc. on there and it's ,for the most part,kayak fishing specific.

We are also holding our second annual Kayak fishing tournament this year at Dickson Pond/Gleniffer lake.We've got a great price pool on the go as well as we'll be giving away a Jackson Kayak Cuda,a kayak fishing monster.The tourney was a good time last year and is growing everyday.Come on out and meet up with other kayak anglers
