Default How to put a License Number on a Boat?

I just received my pleasure craft Licence number. According to the approval, I am required to write in block letters 75 mm high the number on each side of the bow of the boat.

I'm curious how people have done this in the past? Does anyone sell peel and stick numbers/letters for this task? I checked Canadian Tire, and the best I could find was house numbers, but there were no letters.

Michaels has letters/numbers, but I don't think they would be water proof (I'm not sure).

Thank you

I think it only cost me around $35 for custom made numbers at the local shop, and they come properly spaced. Just peel and stick.

Budget atv and marine on argyll and 91 has semi colour matched kits. $26 for a pack containing 4 each of every number and letter. I think they have a store in Calgary too...

If you go to an vinyl shop you will get exactly what you need, but really anyone that has a vinyl cutting machine can do it. I am sure there are more then a few guys on here that have them!

Default How to put a license

Go to any sign shop and have them make you a set of numbers. Peel and stick, all evenly spaced.

Bass Pro has the Vinal numbers, much cheaper than cusotm.

I guess it depends what kind of boat you have and how fancy you want to get. For me I just went to my local sign shop, main color with secondary shadow color to match the scheme of my boat. Any sign shop should know the rules and be able to print out any color or font you want.

I ordered mine from sign specialist.com For 30-40 bucks they turned out amazing.

My boat has dark green and gold metal flake logos and trim and I had my decals made to match the metalflake. The font also fairly closely matches the brand logos.
