Day 6 Hit the Forks for a day of fishing. Try 3 different spots 2 sturgeons 1 ling and lots of big suckers.Fished at the island all morning with no action, there must have been 12 rods on the beach all with no action. The Oldman is rising and getting dirty .The water is just starting to come through the chanel at 5:00PM Fri. so access might get cut off.

Awesome week Dago, I'd have to say! Nice work and great pics, thanx for sharing them
The Forks - I've only fished there a few times but I've NEVER seen it having constant action. Quite slow most the time from my xp anyway. It produces for sure, just not that frequently, beauty spot to camp though
Cheers.

Its been a good start for sure. We have been threw at least 20 dozen dew worms. Our count is at 64 sturgeon this week. We are heading out Sat. for a overnighter and try to hit the 100 mark.

Crazy, funfunfun! Do u strictly use worms?...curious. I'm more a minnow guy just because I hate catching suckas and love to catch walleye too, so I find with minnows, 90% of time I either have a sturg or walter or some other gamefish on. With wormies, probably catch more sturg but lotsa suckas and less walleye. Thus, I use minnow though I see most people use worms.
Maybe I should switch, I can catch about 3 MONSTER nightcrawlers per minute in the backyard as soon as it gets dark. I'm talking HUGE lol. Should start selling them at the fishing holes ha, I'd be rich!
Cheers.

Days 7 & 8 We had a good evening and morning with 19 sturgeon landed. The biggest being 48in. 46in. 44in. & 40. Lost 2 big ones did'nt get a look at them but you can tell they were big. The water is warming up making them more scrappy and jumping right out of the water. What a great week of fishing with a total sturgeon count of 93. That nasty south wind was blowing through the valley and you could'nt fish this morning I sure we could have hit 100.
