If I could see any, I would pick a Taimen from Mongolia. Other one I would pick was the Goliath tiger fish, which he caught last season.

Would have liked to see him land that whale shark! But for future episodes I'm going to have to go with the obvious, a monster sized Pike

I wish he would just go out and catch a fish instead of making it all dramatic and pretending like the fish are killing people. He would probably come to Alberta and catch a pike if we faked a bunch of stories on the internet about how there are rogue pike eating babies.

I hear you, but that is the difference between being on The Discovery Channel, or relegated to the World Fishing Network.

He already went to Mongolia and caught a Taiman didn't he?

I'd like to see him catch something out of a river flowing into the arctic.

I'm sure he can dramatize the danger of netting inconnu somehow.

Jeremy may not be the typical fishermen but aI much rather watch him fish than for an obese american floating around a 50K boat riddled with stickers , catching bass and insisting hes a pro.

Not sure if he has. I know that the guy on nat geo that does monster fish has gone to Mongolia, but I haven't seen Jeremy wade do it yet. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened though.

I believe you are correct, it was Zeb Hogan from Monster Fish who did the Taimen episode. Equally over dramtic, just in a different direction

I agree with this. I PVR the show and then I skip through to the last 20 minutes usually just to see the fish.

I completely agree, yes some of it is over exaggerated, but than again it is television. And with a net worth of 1.5 million I have respect for the fact he's turned something he loves into a viable career. And if anything he does teach want to be anglers how to practice catch and release, so if that means that one less person is going to be tossing a fish ten feet into the water, than that's good enough for me.

I agree, any one who makes a living off doing what he loves doing is a douche ass loser, fishing rivers all over the world, what a loser, and he gets paid to do it, man is that guy a loser, he would be much cooler if he worked in a office all day and hated his life

I have seen an episode of River Monsters where Jeremy Wade was in Mongolia fishing for the Taimen. It is part of this new season. Now granted I have downloaded all the episodes so it is possible that the Taimen episode has not aired yet on Discovery. I download these things to watch in camp at work as it is extremely boring hanging out in my 8x10 cell or I am room.

.... I don't understand your logic.

Personally I enjoy the show... It can get tedious at times, but it is a good watch most of the time (if not for the fishing than for the fishing spots).

I would like to see him tackle some 500lb+ goliath grouper.

I love the show, I think it is a really cool concept and would LOVE to spend a couple days fishing that pond he goes to in Thailand that is loaded with monster freshwater fish from around the globe.

That being said, if I could see him catch anything on that show, it would be a new set of teeth!
