Even if I do all the prep. work and get it professionally painted it would be way cheaper.
I was just going to prep. and paint it myself but if you know of someone who does decent wraps for cheap I am all ears.
I don't plan on fixing it up until this season is over so I have plenty of time to talk to someone about ideas and prices.

I would also like to know where you can get this done. I live close to Calgary so maybe someone knows who does it.

Nice boat. I was thinking of getting the Spratley 10/12'. Any of these wide bottom aluminium boat will last forever and stable for fly fishing. Good choice. If I haven't had bought the inflatable, these will be my top choice.

Tried taking some pictures today while it is in the garage but the ones from the day after I got it home turned out better due to the lighting.
Just finished installing iPilot, HDS-7 Gen 2 with structure scan, second trolling motor battery and an onboard charger. Was going to put my rod holders on too but decided to wait until I get a few trips in to decide where I want them. Something about putting too many holes in a brand new boat just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

42" Bottom, 9'6 length. The guy i got it from made those and they came pre installed, he built the boat himself (aerospace engineer) and he did a very very good job, everything a fly fisher could ever want. I just need to build/make a bit of storage.
As for power, i have a 38lb thrust electric that will push it along nicely, and also a 4hp yamaha 4 stroke that will make the thing fly.
For those considering buying this type of boat or an inflateable pontoon, buy this if your intended purposes are for stillwater. I hated my pontoon boat for lakes, and managed to swap it straight across for this boat. Can not beat a pram on a lake.

Looks ideal for fly fishing, congrats.

Old 13' whaler that I converted to a center console, removed the front bench, and raised the rear bench to fit the tanks. Most stable boat I could find when all I had to pull it was a hatchback

I did not have the boat repainted but it has had two owners prior to me. I have been tearing into it to make some changes and bring it into the 21st century (it had a cassette player in it) and have found that previous mods have been done very well. I think that she was very well cared for.......I hope at least.

Cool hull looks to be in great shape, reason for my question and may look into repainting mine. My 1995 crestliner has had 2 owners, me being the second of course. The first owner got lots of use out of it in 12 yrs and I have had it about 6. Also gonna do some work on it this year but think I will keep the cassette player lol, do not use the radio much. I had the boat gone over by Free Spirit about 4 years ago and both motors had great compression so no reason to upgrade.

Yeah, she's got some rubs here and there and some road spray but that just means I don't feel guilty when I ding her up. I hear you guys on the cassette player as I actually have a few hundred cassettes still kicking around. Problem being is that I have two young girls and I don't think that I can buy Katy Perry or Justin Beiber on cassette anywhere.

Got this one last summer. Tried it in Rupert Last fall and worked like a charm. Can't wait to get using it this summer.

You may want to try synthetic 2-stroke oil. It should reduce your smoke quite a bit and sure won't hurt it. Might be worth a tankful to try.
