Default geeks smash another WRecord

Just got back from fishing Diefenbaker lake, landed this beast of a burbot weighing 19lbs 8oz. 21.5" girth and 40" long. Our 2nd biggest to date and should easily take over the IGFA's 10lb line class world record. Caught it friday night at 11pm just after a 6.5hr drive. lol. The next day landed this beast of a pike at blackstrap on a tip up. Ending the ice fishing season with a BANG.

Advanced taxidermy is in the process of doing a replica mold of the 25lb burbot from last year. they seem to be dragging it out, not shure if there having problems with the fish or just really busy. this 19lber we let go. And no bows, we were targeting burbots at night and headed to blackstrap durring the day sat and sunday for some perch, as there was a perch tourny on bounty this week.

THe 48lb bow was mounted by Rickstrophymounts, they did a replica mold of the bow. The bow mount picture is on our website.
We are always looking for new places to do some of our mounts. closer is always better. Is Rosetown a taxidurmy, and if so are they good.?

Man those are some huge fish. When you catch burbots that big, do you check for small children that might have been swallowed?

Big congrats on a new 10lb line record!
