Too funny, I was going to ask the same thing. Probably the same as those other pro staffers!
Just kidding of course.

Guides can't advertise their services unless they are a sponsor!

It's a rebuttle from him commenting on my catch and release practices in another thread...and he's not allowed to advertise his services as FishingMom has stated.

that makes a little more sense.

how was he promoting a business or himself as a guide though? his login name? his photo's of hoggs combined with his log in name?

theres more obvious promoters of services or products out there.

lol baitfish this is what i said in your thread

nice fish, but when you catch a fish and wanna release it you should never drag it on the grass it rubs scales off

.haha, no, just saying, nice brown though, never caught one in Alberta yet, but even if you put a trout on the grass scales do come off, just ssaying, like educating for next time.

and whats wrong with what i said, i did not make fun of you call u names or anything at all and you go crazy, i would hate to read some old threads here of what goes on, thought this was a cool place to meet some cool fishing people in Alberta, guess not, thats to bad thought i was wrong.

i think its a pride thing with some people and fishing and accepting that they are wrong.

most of the people who actually knew enough(ssundancefisher types) to clarify and explain have given up it seems. add in a bunch of dudes that have "the alberta fishing guide" sitting beside their computers and like giving their expert opinions on spots they never been to or things they dont completely understand and you get................... entertainment >?
