i am not positive but i would say no. the fake ones would fall into a scented bait/power bait category.

Hi guys and gals,
My wife and I had to join this forum (sorry for highjacking the thread) ...you guys are freakin hillarious!! Anyone really fish? Or sit around smokin a big fatty and harrassing the youngsters!! LOL!

little archer_99 - I am glad someone caught something around Cochrane.....we have tried quite a number of times from Ghost to Cochrane and its more like the "dead zone".

Now on a more serious note......where is a good place to fish the Bow?

if you want something really funny ask horse or chubb to let you come along on their get together, it might be this weekend.....it might include but not limited to jet boats, wheel chairs, hooters, kfc and swimming!!!!

i dont fish the bow north of the city much but south of the city is awesome fishing. Southbow in heritage point has a big detailed map of the bow and its worth checking out. good luck and welcome.

I knew the regs when I was like 10. Also know a nmber of frinds I could start listing ( my age '15' ) that knew the regs when they were 14. But I can kinda see your point.

No the stretch of the Bow from Gap upstream. I have lots of detail on the fishing map for that section. I have had a few nice fish out of Gap however. It is open to the Bow on the backside, so you can expect to get anything that swims in the Bow in Gap as well.

Ignorance is no excuse under the law. We should be careful not to trivialize poaching behavoir and ensure things like this are reported when we see in on the river...and yes...make it known to those that accidentally post their indiscretions that they should learn from there mistakes.

There is no such thing...in my humble opinion...as acceptable poaching behavoir. Allow any of it and you open a pandoras box.

No one should say on this forum that bending the rules is okay. I feel that comment is 100 times worse that the OP's mistake. I will obviously believe him that he made a mistake...and that he will learn. However...condoning "bending" the rules to ones advantage over and above the regulations is pure and simple poaching and should be called out as such.

where do I sign up for these catch and release groups? do I have to pay a fine if I happen to keep a fish once a year? who would want to eat a fish out of a river well over 1 million people whizz in anyways? by the time it reached Diefenbaker it must be half urine!

do you ever write anything that makes sense? i have seen comments from you on a few threads now and its your inbred backwoods logic that is the real threat to the resource.

funny thing is its people like you who are the first to cry once the fish are gone.

and even if it was to cater to the guides and outfitters so the **** what. do you have any idea the local revenue generated by these awful guides and outfitters?

You do realize this is a family forum, do you think you will ever be able to make a post that you don't swear or name call in. Just a question
