Default Lake Newell or Rolling Hills

Have some time off this week and debating what lake would be better. Haven’t fished either one before. Any tips would be great

Either are good for numbers of average size fish. Newell has better access but you have to be careful if driving on for the heaves and thin spots where gas bubbles and springs are. If you want to target big pike and walleye then Newell is the better option for sure but it'll likely take some time and persistence to tie into one. Take a look at the bathymetric maps for spots and there is lots of info for both lakes in the archives of this forum.
